Investigative Committee declines to comment on reports linking Mher Sedrakyan’s associates to attack on Mihran Hakobyan

The Investigative Committee has declined to comment on media reports regarding the identities of those involved in the attack on public figure Mihran Hakobyan.

“I am not making any comments. I have seen what the Ishkhanutyun news agency reported, but I have no comments. We have already disclosed everything that is currently subject to publication,” Kima Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee, told Aysor.am.

Earlier, Ishkhanutyun reported that the investigation had established that the attack on Hakobyan was carried out by individuals linked to Mher Sedrakyan, also known as Tokhmakhi Mher. The outlet also claimed that Sedrakyan has ties to National Security Service Director Andranik Simonyan.

The Investigative Committee neither confirmed nor denied this information, stating only that the investigation is ongoing.
