Azerbaijani prosecutor seeks life sentence for Ruben Vardanyan

Azerbaijani prosecutor made a statement today during the fake criminal trial against Ruben Vardanyan at the Baku Military Court, Azerbaijani media reported.

The prosecutor requested that Vardanyan be sentenced to life imprisonment.

It was also reported that Ruben Vardanyan does not recognize the proceedings as real judicial process and considers the trial unfair. He stated that he does not regret his actions and is prepared to answer before God. Vardanyan reaffirmed his position that Artsakh was, is, and will be.

He further expressed gratitude to all those who support him and called on people to follow their own path, keep their word, and not be afraid to live consciously.
