Train carrying oil products arrives in Armenia from Azerbaijan via Georgia (Video)

A train carrying oil products has arrived in Armenia from Azerbaijan via Georgia.

According to the government’s press office, the development is another result of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan following the agreements reached in Washington and reflects progress in economic cooperation.

The statement noted that on November 28, during a meeting in Gabala between the Deputy Prime Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Mher Grigoryan and Shahin Mustafayev, an agreement was reached to supply Armenia with 22 wagons of gasoline.

The initiative is considered particularly significant in terms of strengthening mutual trust between the two countries and advancing the peace agenda, the government said.
