Archbishop Michael has not yet undergone surgery; undergoing medical tests

Archbishop Mikayel Ajapahyan, head of the Shirak Diocese, is currently at the Izmirlyan Medical Center and has not yet undergone surgery.

His lawyer, Marine Farmanyan, stated this in an interview with Aysor.am.

“The Archbishop is currently undergoing medical examinations. His blood sugar level is elevated, and doctors are working to stabilize it and address other related issues. If his condition improves as expected, the surgery is likely to be performed toward the end of the week,” Farmanyan said.
