“We need one thing - unity,” said Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the “Our Way” popular movement.

“How can they defeat us? By dividing us. Just three days ago we were in Echmiadzin – do you know how they divided people? Police officers stood in the middle, asking, ‘Do you protect the church or are you a ‘pro-Nikol?’ If you say, ‘I protect the church,’ they tell you to go right; if you say, ‘pro-Nikol,’ they tell you to go left. But everyone there is Armenian,” Karapetyan noted.

He stressed that protecting the church is a responsibility shared by all.
