On this sacred occasion, my thoughts are with the clergy who remain imprisoned: Robert Amsterdam
As the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Feast of Christmas and Epiphany, we reflect on the profound mystery of this holy season – a time when light dispels darkness and brings a message of hope, peace, and renewal, wrote international human rights advocate Robert Amsterdam.
“Throughout history, the Armenian people have demonstrated extraordinary spiritual resilience, proving that faith and the human spirit can prevail even in the face of the most severe trials.
On this sacred occasion, my thoughts are with those members of the clergy who continue to remain incarcerated, separated from their faithful during these holy days.
Justice, like the light of this feast, is unstoppable, and I remain committed to the principle that it must be restored for all who suffer because of their beliefs.
May these festive days bring renewed hope and the triumph of justice to the Armenian people.
Merry Christmas to all my Armenian friends,” he stated.
