Electricity tariffs to rise if authorities win elections, Ghazinyan warns
If the current authorities win the elections, electricity tariffs will increase, former Acting General Director of Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) David Ghazinyan stated in a conversation with reporters.
He recalled that businessman Samvel Karapetyan had not increased electricity prices for the past 10 years and had pledged not to raise them for another decade.
According to Ghazinyan, the authorities are focused solely on the period up to June 7 and show no concern for developments after June 8. “As I have said before, and without intending sarcasm, a difficult situation awaits ENA, and we can already see the signs of it,” he noted.
