We have no intention of excluding Russia, they can cooperate with TRIPP: Mirzoyan (video)
During a press conference following his meeting with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan addressed the potential involvement of Russia in the TRIPP project.
Asked whether the United States considers Russia’s participation possible, Mirzoyan stated that the matter has not been discussed.
“This issue has not been discussed. The framework of TRIPP is, by and large, quite clear. We do not intend to exclude Russia in any way. Russia already has a presence in various infrastructures on the territory of Armenia, though not within TRIPP itself. However, other activities, connections, and forms of cooperation related to TRIPP may also be established with the Russian Federation,” the minister said.
