Representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan conduct joint inspection of Yeraskh-Sadarak railway section

On January 15, 2026, representatives of Armenia and Azerbaijan carried out a joint inspection of the current state of infrastructure on the Yeraskh-Sadarak railway section, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia reported.

“The purpose of the inspection was to assess the technical suitability of the railway section for the movement of special railway construction equipment in order to implement comprehensive measures for infrastructure rehabilitation.

Within the framework of the inspection, the parties exchanged views on issues related to assessing the technical condition of the railway infrastructure along the section,” the ministry’s statement said.
