We will introduce the Georgian system here: Narek Karapetyan addresses drug prices in Armenia (Video)
Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the “Our Way” movement, addressed the issue of high drug prices in Armenia, noting that medicines in the country are significantly more expensive than in neighboring Georgia.
“Many of you know that people travel to Georgia to purchase medicines because they are cheaper there. We will introduce the Georgian system here. By around 20-30 percent, there are medicines that are twice as inexpensive. We will follow the same path that Georgia has taken to reduce drug prices,” Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the “Our Way” movement, announced during a meeting in the Malatia-Sebastia community.
