No grounds to keep Khachik Galstyan under arrest – Arsen Babayan (Video)

The youth wing of the Homeland Party held a protest today outside the European Union Embassy in Armenia in support of political prisoners Khachik Galstyan and Aram Kocharyan.

Attorney Arsen Babayan told reporters that there are no facts indicating even a minimal level of reasonable suspicion that Khachik Galstyan committed a crime.

“There is no legal basis for keeping Khachik Galstyan in custody. This case once again demonstrates the authorities’ fixation on political persecution,” Babayan stated.
