Desire and vivid imagination can be “sold” as fact to some, but not to the military

At a solemn session at the Ministry of Defense, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reportedly expressed surprise that even most of the participants – the military – were unaware of the content of the report being presented, wrote NA deputy Tigran Abrahamyan.

“First, if the people in the hall of the Ministry of Defense do not feel the changes presented by the governor on their own experience, then either those changes do not exist or they have not reached their destination.

Second, desire and vivid imagination can be ‘sold’ as fact to some groups, but not to the military.

Finally, there were also individuals in that hall who have served in the armed forces for 20–30 years. They know where we have been, what we have faced, and which milestones we have achieved.

These people, under different circumstances, can applaud and stand, but they cannot falsify their own history. It is very difficult to transition from being a winner – suppressing the enemy and holding a high position in society – to the status of a loser, constantly asking for peace and being targeted,” Abrahamyan wrote.
