Pashinyan and Vance sign agreement on peaceful nuclear energy cooperation

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and US Vice President J.D. Vance have signed a joint statement confirming the completion of negotiations on an agreement governing cooperation between the governments of Armenia and the United States in the field of the peaceful use of nuclear energy.

Pashinyan announced the signing at a joint press conference with Vance.

“The agreement opens a new chapter in deepening the energy partnership between Armenia and the United States. It will contribute to the diversification of Armenia’s energy resources and facilitate the introduction of safe and innovative technologies,” Pashinyan said.
