I have gladly accepted Trump’s invitation to the Peace Board session – Pashinyan

“U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance’s visit is a key step toward institutionalizing peace and expanding the Armenia-U.S. strategic partnership,” Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a press conference with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance.

He noted that he had briefed Vance on developments in the South Caucasus, as well as on the details of his recent negotiations with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. Pashinyan added that he had reaffirmed Armenia’s commitment to supporting the U.S. government’s peace and peacekeeping efforts, including the work of the Peace Board.

“I would also like to note that I have received and gladly accepted the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump to participate in the first session of the Peace Board on September 19,” Pashinyan said.
