Simonyan: “If we continue like this, Armenia and Azerbaijan will no longer have problems”
Today, during a briefing with journalists, National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan congratulated everyone on the historic visit of the U.S. Vice President, the agreements reached, and the opportunities that, in his view, have opened up for Armenia.
Addressing the issue of the return of captives, Simonyan noted that work is ongoing, though not publicly discussed:
“Nothing has changed in our approach. There is constant attention on the captives, the fate of the missing, and related issues. I very positively assess the working style we have adopted with Azerbaijan, and I believe that if we continue moving forward on this path, the two countries will no longer have any problems in the near future.”
