“No other people are deceived so consistently with the same primitive tricks” – Ashotyan
Armen Ashotyan, Vice Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, wrote:
“The recurring hype by government propagandists around promises of foreign investment is nothing new.
In May 2018, Nikol stood at the National Assembly podium speaking of an ‘economic revolution’ and billions expected from abroad.
In 2020, they inflated another bubble – the alleged USD 15 billion promised from China (many of you have likely forgotten that information operation).
Then came the EU investment pledges – first €2.6 billion, then €2.5 billion.
After that, a distorted translation of the U.S. Vice President’s speech sparked short-lived euphoria about USD 9 billion, now seemingly reduced to USD 4 billion. Not to mention the myths spun around the profitability of TRIPP.
There is no other nation in the world that is so deliberately and successfully deceived with such consistency and the same primitive tricks.
And yet, regrettably, we still listen – ears closed – to the next absurd promises of manna from heaven, as though that were the only passage we favor from the entire Bible.”
