Pre-trial detention has been imposed on one suspect in the Ajapnyak murder and attempted murder case, while five others have been placed under house arrest.

Kima Avdalyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee of Armenia, told Aysor.am that the preventive measures were applied within the framework of the criminal proceedings.

On February 18, gunfire was reported in Yerevan’s Ajapnyak administrative district. Seven people with gunshot wounds were taken to the “Armenia” Medical Center; one of the injured later died.
