Georgia temporarily closes part of road to Armenian border

Georgia has temporarily closed a section of the road leading to the border with Armenia near the Ninotsminda-Bavra checkpoint.

According to the Georgian Highways Administration, all types of transport are prohibited from passing through the Paravan mountain pass due to heavy snow and poor visibility.

The restriction applies to the 94–110 km section of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda national highway.
