Hamlet Manukyan overtakes Azerbaijani contender, named Best Male Gymnast of the Year

European champion Hamlet Manukyan has been recognized as the Best Male Gymnast of the Year.

Thanks to your efforts, solidarity and boundless love, Hamlet Manukyan was recognized as the Best Male Gymnast of the Year.

This is our shared victory. We are grateful. Together we are strong,” the statement released by the Armenian Gymnastics Federation reads.

The European champion had been nominated for the title of Best Gymnast of the Year in Europe 2025. Voting began several days ago, and an Azerbaijani athlete was also among the contenders. Thanks to the unity of Armenians, Hamlet Manukyan overtook the Azerbaijani athlete.
