Iran does not target neighboring countries – Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has stated that Tehran has not launched strikes on Azerbaijani territory.

“Iran does not target neighboring countries. This incident requires a thorough investigation,” the diplomat said in an interview with AnewZ TV.

He emphasized that the Islamic Republic’s defense strategy plans strikes only against its adversaries, including the military bases of the United States and the Zionist regime.

“Only those countries that provide their territory to Iran’s adversaries for the deployment of military bases could become targets,” the diplomat noted.
