488 tons of Russian grain to be sent to Armenia via Azerbaijan today

A freight train carrying Russian grain will depart from Baladzhar railway station today and transit through Azerbaijan en route to Armenia, Azerbaijani media reported. The train consists of seven wagons, carrying a total of 488 tons of grain.

It will pass through Boyuk Kasik station, after which it will cross the border with Georgia and continue its journey to Armenia. The previous similar shipment took place on February 4, when an eight-wagon train transporting 560 tons of Russian grain transited from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
