I Support Samvel Karapetyan: Karen Karapetyan

Hundreds of citizens have gathered near the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia, where a court hearing on changing the house arrest of Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia Party, has begun.

Former Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan also arrived at the court.

He declined to answer journalists’ questions, saying he was not in the mood to give an interview.

“Do I have the right not to give an interview? Please respect my right,” Karapetyan said.

The former prime minister only stated that he supports Samvel Karapetyan.

When asked whether he maintains contacts with Serzh Sargsyan, Karapetyan replied: “I have contacts.”
