“We hope justice will prevail”: Gohar Ghumashyan on Samvel Karapetyan’s case (Video)

Hundreds of citizens have gathered near the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia, where a hearing on changing the house arrest of Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia Party, is expected to begin shortly.

Party member Gohar Ghumashyan told reporters that Armenia indeed needs a new leader.

“We hope that today justice will finally prevail and Samvel Karapetyan will be released,” she said.

According to Ghumashyan, a judge must emerge who will put an end to Karapetyan’s illegal detention.
