Authorities are fighting against Samvel Karapetyan’s portrait and losing: Narek Karapetyan

The authorities are effectively fighting against the portrait of Samvel Karapetyan, Narek Karapetyan told reporters in the courtyard of the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia, where the issue of changing the house arrest of Samvel Karapetyan is being considered.

According to Narek Karapetyan, Samvel Karapetyan’s freedom of speech and ability to communicate with the public have been restricted.

“Samvel Karapetyan is limited in his speech and in his ability to communicate with his supporters. Yet even under these circumstances, all polls show that our society supports Samvel Karapetyan and the political force he leads,” said Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the Strong Armenia Party.

He added that the authorities are “fighting against the portrait of Samvel Karapetyan and losing to the portrait.”
