War against Iran is a serious challenge, but opportunities almost always emerge alongside it – Iranologist

Iranologist Vardan Voskanyan writes:

“The current war against Iran is a serious and complex challenge for this state.

However, opportunities almost always emerge alongside every challenge.

In this context, Iran’s long-term strategy not only envisions neutralizing the current challenge and restoring the status quo that existed before the war, but also altering that status quo in Iran’s favor, to the extent possible.

The change in the status quo envisioned by Iran is intended to put an end to its isolation once and for all, demonstrating that the countries of the Persian Gulf region, in particular, can develop prosperously and securely only if Iran also has such an opportunity.”
