Statements by the opposition imply war – Suren Papikyan

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Suren Papikyan, stated that statements made by the country’s main opposition forces imply war, as they contain territorial claims toward neighboring states.

According to the minister, opposition representatives argue that the Karabakh movement should be continued, while Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said that the movement should not be continued.

“Their belligerent stance will bring war,” Papikyan emphasized.

He also noted that the Ministry of Defense of Armenia is carrying out its duties and that all risks are being assessed.

“There is peace in Armenia,” Papikyan added.
