Nikol Pashinyan receives new head of EU mission, discusses peace and security issues
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed head of the European Union Civilian Mission in Armenia, Satu Koivu.
The Prime Minister congratulated Ms. Koivu on assuming the position and highlighted the activities of the EU mission in Armenia. He noted the dynamic development of Armenia-EU relations and emphasized the European Union’s consistent support for strengthening democratic institutions in the country.
Satu Koivu thanked the Prime Minister for the warm reception and touched upon the mission’s ongoing activities. She expressed confidence that close cooperation and active dialogue with the Armenian government’s partners would continue.
During the meeting, the sides also discussed issues related to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process, as well as regional stability and security.
