Artur Davtyan wins gold at 2026 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup in Cairo
Armenian gymnast Artur Davtyan claimed gold at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup stage in Cairo.
The Olympic silver and bronze medalist, world champion, and three-time European champion secured first place in the vault final with a score of 14.666.
Asan Salimov of Kazakhstan took second place with 14.083 points, while Jonas Danek of the Czech Republic finished third with 14.016.
Armenia concluded the Cairo stage with three medals overall: two gold and one silver. Earlier, Hamlet Manukyan won gold on the pommel horse, and Artur Avetisyan took silver on the rings.
