The government has been fighting with Samvel Karapetyan’s picture for months, and now with his name – Alik Aleksanyan (Video)

The National Assembly is trying to pass a law and change the Electoral Code to ban the use of Samvel Karapetyan’s name, said Alik Aleksanyan, a member of the board of the “Strong Armenia” party, during an urgent press conference today.

“This speaks to the fact that the government has been living in an atmosphere of fear for a long time, they have been fighting with Samvel Karapetyan’s picture for months, in the truest sense of the word, and now they are fighting with his name,” he noted.

According to Aleksanyan, “Pashinyan is trying to scare the people with everything he can: with war, with illegal arrests. Anyone who says a harsh word or makes any movement is arrested and taken away.”
