Arman Sahakyan arrested

Former head of the State Property Management Department and member of the Republican Party of Armenia, Arman Sahakyan, has been arrested. The information was confirmed by the Anti-Corruption Committee in a conversation with Aysor.am.

“Within the framework of criminal proceedings being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Committee, a number of individuals have been arrested on suspicion of committing offenses under various articles of the RA Criminal Code, including a person who previously held the position of head of the State Property Management Department, as well as other former high-ranking officials,” the committee told Aysor.am.

In the interest of the preliminary investigation, the committee noted that no further details can be disclosed at this stage.
