Our ultimate goal is for ENA to be de jure registered as property of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan says

“Our ultimate goal is for the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) to be de jure registered as the property of the Republic of Armenia,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced at a briefing.

“The ENA has already been de facto nationalized, and de jure registration will follow soon,” Pashinyan said, emphasizing that this process will take place “especially at the request of Armenian consumers.”

“We have repeatedly warned in official settings that this situation could not continue. It has lasted for years, and a decision has now been made. ENA is now under the control of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and will remain so,” he added.
