Georgia closes road to border checkpoint with Armenia due to adverse weather conditions

Georgia has temporarily closed the road leading to one of the border checkpoints with Armenia due to adverse weather conditions.

In particular, because of a snowstorm and poor visibility, restrictions have been imposed on the section from kilometer 94 to kilometer 110 (Paravani Pass) of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda national highway.

As a result, traffic between the Ninotsminda and Bavra checkpoints is currently suspended.
