Samvel Karapetyan to renounce Russian and Cypriot citizenship

The leader of the “Strong Armenia” party, Samvel Karapetyan, has initiated the process of renouncing his Russian and Cypriot citizenship.

Karapetyan made the announcement during a court hearing today.

“I am a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, and I also hold Russian and Cypriot passports. As we are confident in our victory, we have begun the process of renouncing my Russian and Cypriot citizenship,” he stated.
