Investigators failed to present a single substantiated argument by the end of the hearing – Gohar Ghumashyan (Video)

A court hearing in the case of Samvel Karapetyan is currently underway at the Anti-Corruption Court.

Supporters of Karapetyan have gathered in the courthouse yard.

Gohar Ghumashyan, a member of the “Strong Armenia” party who was brought in by the Anti-Corruption Committee yesterday, is also present in the courtyard. She thanked her supporters for standing by her and described the process as politically motivated:

“The arguments presented in court were unfounded. After returning home yesterday, I reviewed the media coverage, and it appears that government supporters have become unsettled. This suggests that the rally we organized has had a significant impact on them,” she said.

Those gathered responded to her remarks with applause.

Ghumashyan added that by the end of the court session, investigators had failed to present any substantive argument that would justify granting their motion.
