Armenian border guards learn about customs and border protection at US-Mexico border

As part of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia’s Export Control and Border Security (EXBS) Program, representatives of Armenia’s border guard service recently visited the United States to meet with their Department of State and U.S. Customs and Border Protection counterparts and discuss ongoing cooperation, the U.S. Embassy in Armenia reported.

During their visit, the Armenian border guards traveled to Washington, D.C., El Paso, Texas, and Artesia, New Mexico, where they observed U.S. Customs and Border Protection operations along the U.S.-Mexico border. They also visited the U.S. Border Patrol Academy.
