Anna Hakobyan does not want her foundation to be associated with Nikol Pashinyan or the ruling party: she will sue Daniel Ioannisyan
Anna Hakobyan, Executive Director of the “My Step” charity foundation and wife of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, announced that she will file a lawsuit against Daniel Ioannisyan.
At a meeting with journalists, Hakobyan stated that she has instructed her legal team to explore two possible legal actions:
First, the possibility of submitting a report to initiate a criminal case against Daniel Ioannisyan; second, filing a civil lawsuit against the “Independent Observer” alliance, demanding compensation for alleged damage to the business reputation and authority of the “My Step” foundation.
Hakobyan emphasized that she does not want her foundation to be associated with Nikol Pashinyan or the ruling Civil Contract party, adding: “My rights have been violated.”
The “Independent Observer” alliance has previously announced that it submitted an application to the Administrative Court regarding charitable activities implemented by the “My Step” foundation.
Daniel Ioannisyan, program coordinator of the “Union of Informed Citizens” NGO, stated that the “Independent Observer” alliance has requested that Anna Hakobyan, as head of the foundation’s executive body, be held administratively liable in 15 instances.
