Next week, the Prime Minister of Canada, Mark Carney, will join European leaders in Armenia to participate in the European Political Community Summit, according to the website of the European Commission.

Carney will become the first non-European leader to attend the gathering as a guest since the establishment of this format.

According to the official statement, the summit will be held under the slogan “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe.”

“Discussions in Yerevan will focus on strengthening democratic resilience, enhancing connectivity, and reinforcing economic and energy security. Participants will explore how to contribute to a more resilient, secure, and united European space through closer cooperation and coordinated action,” the European Commission stated.
