Artur Avanesyan arrested

Artur Avanesyan, known as Kandaz – head of the security team of the “Strong Armenia” party, a participant in the Artsakh wars, and an intelligence officer — has been arrested.

The Anti-Corruption Court granted the investigator’s motion and imposed a pre-trial detention measure, ordering his arrest for a period of two months.

Artur Avanesyan was detained earlier today.
