Your criminal statements contribute to Azerbaijani genocidal policy – Beglaryan to Torosyan

The well-known anti-Artsakh stance of Arsen Torosyan makes it advisable for him to remain silent on matters concerning Artsakh and to carry out his duties effectively and conscientiously within the ministry, former Artsakh Ombudsman Artak Beglaryan wrote.

“There is an enormous amount of work to be done – both in addressing the needs of forcibly displaced people from Artsakh and in resolving broader social issues affecting Armenia’s citizens. Your criminal statements simply contribute to the Azerbaijani genocidal policy of destroying Armenian and universal values – values that, evidently, hold no significance for you,” he added.

Earlier, it was reported that Civil Contract party member Arsen Torosyan stated that he sees no purpose in Armenia making a public issue of the reported demolition of a church in Stepanakert.

“Let’s say we did it – what would it give to Armenia and the citizens of Armenia?” he said during an appearance on Public Television.
