French President Emmanuel Macron published a message in Armenian, stating:

“Return to this place of memory and duty, facing the indelible. So that every name finds an answer and is not forgotten.

France stands forever with the Armenian people, with deep respect for the memory of the genocide they endured and the many lives lost,” he wrote.
