Russia abandoned Armenia, Armenia has a European destiny – Emmanuel Macron

During the international “Yerevan Dialogue” conference held in Yerevan, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that for a long time there had been a belief that Armenia’s future could exist only under Russian patronage.

According to him, what happened in Artsakh showed that this is not so.

“We saw that Russia abandoned Armenia; we understood that certain assumptions were not reality,” he said.

Macron stated that Armenia has a European destiny.
