Armenia and the European Union are closer than ever, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen stated in Yerevan.
She noted that, thanks to the political courage demonstrated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, new routes toward Central Asia are opening.
“In this context, Armenia has the potential to become a regional hub, and Europe stands ready to support that vision,” Ursula von der Leyen emphasized.
According to the European Commission President, Nikol Pashinyan is working to cure old wounds, and the European Union is committed to supporting peace.
