When we needed the protection of a great friend, the help did not arrive, but we maintain strong ties with Russia – Ararat Mirzoyan

For centuries, we have believed that in a hostile environment we need one strong and powerful “big brother” who can protect us. This perception has now changed, RA Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated during the “Face to Face” discussion.

He noted that when Armenia needed the protection of a great friend, assistance did not come.

“This has significantly changed our understanding of foreign policy among citizens,” Mirzoyan said.

According to the Foreign Minister, Armenia has managed to reduce its political and economic dependence on a single center and diversify its network of partners, while at the same time maintaining strong ties with Russia.
