The rhetoric used by Nikol Pashinyan toward the church is shocking, Robert Amsterdam, a member of Samvel Karapetyan’s international legal team, told reporters.

“Hate speech creates fear, and the current government wants one thing: for society to be afraid, indifferent, and refrain from participating in elections. They know that Pashinyan is not popular; they simply want people to be fearful and disengaged,” Amsterdam said.
