I can’t sleep at night after Aliyev speaks, he behaves as if we don’t exist - Tsarukyan

Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, continued his campaign on its fourth day with his team in his native Kotayk region, this time in the Hrazdan community.

During a meeting with voters, residents raised concerns about the security challenges facing Armenia. In response, Tsarukyan spoke about the authorities’ peace agenda.

“Dear people, what is peace? They say there is an agreement with Aliyev, but there is no signed, guaranteed document. Aliyev will demand this and that, 300,000 Azerbaijanis will come, the Constitution will have to be changed. Our people from Artsakh have come, there is nowhere for them to stay here, families have closed their doors, leaving their property behind. There is no question of returning there,” Tsarukyan said.

He added that he cannot sleep at night after statements by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. “He speaks as if we do not exist,” Tsarukyan noted.
