People did not complain about social conditions – their only concern was the future: Narek Karapetyan

The meeting in the village of Zorakan in Noyemberyan broke away from the usual pattern from the very first minute, wrote Narek Karapetyan, a member of the board of the “Strong Armenia” party.

“The people who invited us to their village did not begin by complaining about daily hardships or social conditions. Their only concern – and their only question – was about the future: ‘How should we live in a strong country? We can no longer tolerate this weakness.’

The villagers set one condition for us: not to disappoint them. It was both surprising and inspiring – not a single word about personal problems, only a shared vision of building a stronger country.

The spirit behind the village

Everything became clear once we understood who our interlocutors were. The residents of the legendary village of Chardakhlu have resettled in Zorakan. The spirit of the homeland of marshals and heroes continues to live here today.
