My letters have disappeared: David Babayan sends voice message from Baku prison (Video)

David Babayan has sent a voice message from a prison in Baku, appealing to human rights defenders and advocates of international law. He stated that both his appeal and the transcript of his final court speech had disappeared.

Babayan stressed that the “trial” in the Baku court was conducted with numerous violations of legal norms and due process. The former Foreign Minister of Artsakh called on the international community and relevant organizations to raise their voices and help restore justice. He also spoke about the treatment of him and the other Armenian prisoners held in Baku, as well as the conditions of their captivity.
