Arman Tatoyan to submit new report to EU Ambassador on Azerbaijani interference in NA elections
Musa Urud has made threatening statements claiming that before the June 7 elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, Armenian society must be shown that the Azerbaijani “iron fist” remains in place and that Armenians “must finally come to their senses,” Arman Tatoyan, candidate for Prime Minister of the “Wings of Unity” party, said in a Facebook video message.
“I will send this today to the EU Ambassador and the delegation. The European Union has announced that it is fighting against Russian interference in our elections, which is very good, but there must be an equal approach and a fight against all interference, including Azerbaijani interference. Our society must vote not out of fear, but in the interests of our statehood and our people,” Tatoyan said.
He also recalled that only a few days ago, the President of Azerbaijan stated that Armenians “need psychiatrists, psychologists, and doctors,” and the Prime Minister of Armenia did not respond to the statement.
