I bet I have never held citizenship of another country – Narek Karapetyan

Narek Karapetyan, a member of the political board of the “Strong Armenia” party, says that he has never held citizenship of any country other than the Republic of Armenia.

“I bet I have never held citizenship of another country,” Karapetyan said in response to the statement released by the investigative body, while also asking whether they would be ready to resign if the report turns out to be false.

Karapetyan’s legal team has appealed to the Russian Embassy on this issue, and they intend to file lawsuits against the Investigative Committee.

Narek Karapetyan also announced that if the Investigative Committee does not issue a retraction by the evening, they will sue the agency.
