The authorities are trying to justify all their failures – Samvel Karapetyan

Responding to a question about the reason behind the current authorities’ alleged aggression toward Ararat in recent years, Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia Party, stated that the authorities have abandoned their national identity and are trying to convey the atmosphere of fear that has formed within them to the society.

In an interview with Nazeni Hovhannisyan, Karapetyan said that the authorities are looking for different culprits to cover up their own failures, instead of admitting that they have not been able to effectively govern the state.

 “They think that if they abandoned our identity, all our dreams... the atmosphere of fear has spread so much within them that they want to spread it among the people. They are trying to justify all their failures with this. Instead of saying that they were not capable and are not capable of governing the state now, they are trying to justify all their failures,” he said.
